Polymeric sand is for pavements made of concrete, clay, and natural stone. Using this type of sand helps provide stability and durability to pavers. Made of graded sand and binder, polymeric sand is formulated to fill narrow or wide joints when installing pavers or slabs, or when replacing existing joints. Unlike regular sand, it stays in place and remains stable. Polymeric sand resists erosion caused by water, frost, or wind. Remaining flexible, it follows the movements of pavers or slabs. It helps keep the surroundings clean by preventing sand from getting into the house or pool. Polymeric sand is applied dry and hardens after wetting.
